Blog Round-Up – Saturday, March 4th
On the Texas Redistricting cases:
Here is Election Law Blog and here is Professor Bainbridge with a post titled, “Gerrymandering Generates Ginsburg Grogginess.”
In other news:
Here is TaxProf Blog with a round-up of press coverage from the Cuno oral argument.
Here is ACSBlog with a post titled, “The Battle over Judicial Nominations Back On?”
Underneath Their Robes as a series of posts on Supreme Court clerk hires. The most recent one can be found here.

I saw the “Ginsburg was sleeping” story reported on Fox News, but what I haven’t seen widely reported was Wall Street Journal reporter Jeanne Cummings story on PBS’s “Washington Week” that Chief Justice John Roberts seemed to be “mocking” the MALDEF attorney, Nina Perales, in a way that made Cummings uncomfortable.
The transcript of the March 3 “Washington Week” isn’t available online until March 6, but the video clip in question is available from PBS at the URL I shortened to:

….just guessing but maybe much of the press doesn’t think Ms. Cummings comfort level is that newsworthy.
Other non-PBS reports after the arguments (including Ms. Cummings’ own report in the WSJ) made no mention of a potential mock.
