Blog Update – Friday, July 1
Here is:
Talk Left on Judge Prado as the nominee.
Orin Kerr on Justice O’Connor’s retirement.
Underneath Their Robes with some interesting reflections on Justice O’Connor’s career.
Sentencing Law & Policy on what Justice O’Connor’s replacement will think of Harris and Almendarez-Torres.
Think Progress on the relationship between President Clinton and Senator Hatch during previous Supreme Court vacancies.
and
Legal Theory Blog arguing that a results-oriented, closely-divided court poses grave dangers for the rule of law–dangers that are greater than those posed by a either results orientation or close division alone.

O’Connor is gone and the little ones are at risk again. MommyCool says that George Bush better do the right thing and protect the unborn life. Think people – before you create a new life you never intended too!

Great set of links. And, great work throughout the blog.
Just an FYI: While the current link to Think Progress” descrbing the relationship between Clinton and Hatch may be very accurate — and funny — (it leads to a page that says “Sorry, no posts were found”), I’ve C&P the correct link here.

Would be interesting to see a summary of the cases coming before the Court in the next session.
TG responds: in the posts below, we have a list of next term’s cases.
